UPCOMING EVENTS AND IMPORTANT DATES

November 28 – Notre Dame’s Nicaragua Spanish Night Fundraiser for Casa Canadiense
From March 7 to 17, 2015, eleven students and four staff members from Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School will travel to Nicaragua for a solidarity and justice experience in partnership with Casa Canadiense. Our group will visit both urban Managua and rural villages where we will have the opportunity to live with local families. We will also work alongside the local people who are partnering with Casa Canadiense in building clean latrines. By raising and donating $5,000 US to Casa's partner communities, we will help improve living conditions, education, and hygiene. Our Nicaragua Social Justice Team raises both awareness and funds year-round within our Notre Dame school community. Our main fundraising event is Spanish Night on November 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School located at 2 Notre Dame Avenue in Brampton. The entertaining evening will include live entertainment, Taco Bar and delicious desserts, silent auction, and live auction. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available in advance or at the door. For more information on the Nicaragua solidarity trip and the Spanish Night, contact Mr. Shaun Sammut at 905-840-2802 ext. 67255.
