Dear extended Felician Family,

On behalf of the sisters I want to say thank you, though it only begins to express how grateful we are for making these three days truly a celebration.  Many times the sisters expressed "Oh how beautiful...Oh my all these people...I'm so glad I came."  There was many moist eyes, warm hearts and glowing smiles.

Our faith says that what's in a person's heart is revealed through what they do.  I can only say that your hearts were showing through crystal clear.  All your efforts, so way beyond beyond, filled the sisters with joy.  The environment, the decorations, the flowers, the food, cakes, balloons, speeches, gifts, hours of planning, rehearsing, travelling, free time given up, sewing, serving, cleaning, designing, and the music was glorious.  Thank you!  And we were all so proud of our students, seeing them enjoy, give and serve is the greatest thank you anyone can ask for.

You are amazing.  Thank you for carrying on the legacy of the Felician Sisters.  You too are a part of this celebration.  It is yours as well because we see you as the torch bearers.  As these days of celebration showed, the flame of Holy Name of Mary is burning brightly, and you are the reason it is still blazing.  We carry this mission together.  Thank you for being collaborators in our common love for the Lord, for girls education, and for Holy Name of Mary.  As Sr. Celestine said so beautifully, "There is room for many many Holy Name of Mary schools."

Thank you for your love and support of the sisters.  Thank you for giving despite your end of year exhaustion.  Please share our gratitude with all at Holy Name in Brampton, all the alumni, and friends.  I haven't seen the Facebook page, but maybe our gratitude could be posted there somehow, as well.  May the Lord bless all of you even more than you have blessed us.

In gratitude,

Sr. Maria Louise

and the Felician Sisters

Let’s have a fantastic year!
Walk the talk, make a positive difference!

Safety First when dropping students off at school

The safety of all children and staff must be considered as paramount at all times when dropping students off at school.

The number of serious incidents related to traffic circulation at the front of the school and in the Kiss and Ride area during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal has risen. These incidents include vehicles entering the site in the wrong direction, parking and pulling out of no parking zones, parking in bus lanes, to name a few.

It is imperative that all parents and guardians who drive their children to school adhere to the traffic circulation plan and comply with the traffic and parking signage on the site. It is equally imperative that all drivers follow the direction of staff managing the traffic circulation on the school site.

Thank you for your consideration and co-operation with this important matter.
